Free High Speed Internet Service
Free Internet?
Ok, I just got my first computer a few months ago, and enrolled at high speed with a local supplier who installed the cable modem, etc. I pay them $ 70 a month for high speed. I heard there are suppliers out there like Earthlink and Juno I think that actually offer free Internet access. Is this true? And if so, how does it work? How would I go to sign with them? And what kind of service can I expect? Anyone been there? Thank you
You get what you pay for. There are some services out there that offer free modem, but there limits and you must load the software on your computer annoying ad so they can flash ads to you while you are online. After a little while, the combo of slow-speed modem and all other small catch is a good reason not to even bother to use it. Stick with your broadband connection, but check with your provider to see if they offer a "lite" service. Many suppliers have a slower service over the $ 25 – price level of $ 40. It is not as fast as what you probably do today, but it is faster than dialup and you'll have a better experience
