Is it possible to order DSL or cable Internet and get it installed the same day?
I have my phone at home with ATT and TimeWarner cable TV. I also have an old DSL modem a year ago when I was still ATT dsl if that matters. Is it possible to order it in the morning and have my internet and launch the same day with either service?
Possibly, but depends on the provider services in your area you choose and how they are employed. Once you decide what you will get a technician out to allow the services, you can install and configure the modem yourself or pay the supplier to do so. The DSL plan is likely to be cheaper but slower than cable Internet options. Your end, you will need an ADSL modem if you choose AT & T DSL, your old would probably work, unless you get a super fast.plan (availability limited) then you will need a new ADSL2 + modem.
